  • Indigenous Literacy Day: Wednesday September 7 2016. 

Georgina Ballantine, Megan Lavender (CBCA Board Member) and Michelle Dona (Committee member CBCA NSW Branch Inc) were at the Sydney Opera House to acknowledge Indigenous Literacy Day on Wednesday September 7 2016. They were privileged to be a part of such a special event, representing the Children's Book Council of Australia (CBCA) NSW Branch Inc.   • The Indigenous Literacy Foundation is Celebrating Children's Book Week! This year, the Indigenous Literacy Foundation is delighted and honoured to be supporting the Children’s Book Council of Australia (CBCA) for Children’s Book Week. This year’s theme, Australia! Story Country, is particularly applicable to our work in the remote Indigenous communities where this year alone, we have delivered books to more than 185 communities. Read the whole story here.
