  • CHILDREN’S BOOKS FOR THE SYRIAN REFUGEES: Local Ku-ring-gai Mayor Cheryl Szatow has just launched an appeal for contributions to Welcome Packs for the Syrian refugees Australia has agreed to take in response to this world-wide crisis. Since many refugees will be women with children or unaccompanied minors, one of the contributions they need is children’s books.   • INVITATION: from member author, SOPHIE MASSON to the launch in Armidale by Ann James, on Saturday November 14 of the lovely new Christmas Press title, Three Dragons for Christmas!, a collection of three stories, one of which is written by Sophie Masson. Flyer attached here.
